Saturday 26th November saw the switch on of Gallions
Reach Christmas lights this year. Crowds turned up to catch a
glimpse of Santa and his cheeky elves. A few more friends from the
North Pole came along to join him, some little penguins and some
beautiful husky dogs too. See photos of the event here.
Money was raised for Richard House Children's hospice and stars
from the local Stratford Theatre panto turned on the light at 4pm
and some festive carols followed from Gallions Primary School!
Time FM was down at the centre with their road show getting
everybody in the Christmas mood for the next few weeks ahead.
Centre manager Catherine Goddard commented of the event,
'The light switch on was a great day for us and lots of fun was
had by all! I would like to take this opportunity to thank
everybody for their support and I wish all a very Merry Christmas
and a great New Year.'
