Despite the tough economic situation, local business in Beckton
Gallions Reach Retail Park is still managing to weather the storm.
the 14th of December saw SUBWAY® Gallions Reach open
creating 10 new jobs in the area, bringing 150,000 worth of
investment back into the local economy.
The store is owned and operated by F Abbas Ltd led by
entrepreneur Farhat Abbas a Subway multi unit franchisee, who lives
in the East London area. " I am delighted that Subway Gallions
reach is finally opened, I am confident that it will add value to
the shopping experience and offer great tasting Subs made fresh in
front of you, just the way you like it".
Farhat owns and operates 8 Subway store, starting back in
September 2005, in Walthamstow shopping centre, Leytonstone, Leyton
Mills Retail Park, Tottenham Hale Retail Park, Chingford and Excel
exhibition Centre. In total the company has created 60 Jobs and
have plans to expand further.
Farhat commented: "Subway is well positioned in offering real
value to customer with its selection of toasted Subs, freshly baked
cookies and great dining experience. Our customers love our fresh
food and enjoy our dining experience with friends or colleagues.
Our aim is to keep providing excellent value to our customers in
terms of service, product, quality and price."
The store caters for breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and dinner
periods and will open from 8:00am until 8pm from Monday to Saturday
and from 9am until 6pm on Sunday. The SUBWAY® chain offers a
