saw the launch of a brand new market at Gallions Reach This
traditional East End market is a great new addition to the offer
here at Gallions Reach and will be open every Saturday from 10.00am
to 4.00pm.
The market is located in Car park E
(opposite Tesco petrol station) and has a good mix of ladies /
men's / kids fashion , accessories, footwear, handbags, jewellery,
fabrics, cultural clothing, household goods, fragrances, CDs &
DVDs, cards, wrapping paper, phone & laptop accessories and
toys. Plus serving foods from around the world such as
Caribbean, Chinese and Indian, plus traditional burger vans, hot
dogs, toffee apples, candy floss, pancakes and 'Robins' - the
well-known East End brand of pie & mash Next week will
see Polish and Portuguese foods added to the mix with more to
follow over the forthcoming weeks.
Centre Manger, Catherine Goddard,
said of the launch:
"The launch of our new Gallions
Reach Market on Saturday created a great buzz at the centre.
We had Time FM radio road show onsite adding to atmosphere
with great music. Everybody involved worked so hard to bring
something special to Gallions Reach and we hope the shoppers
